#poweredbybriefs Giveaway Terms

 

The #poweredbybriefs giveaway is run by BILLYBLONDE LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 12840323.

 

How To Enter

 

- The giveaway will run from 00:00am on a Monday until Midday on a Saturday (all London time) on a weekly basis until further notice (on this page).

 

- All competition entries must be received by no later than 12pm on a Saturday when this competition is running. Any entries after Midday on Saturday, or otherwise satisfying the entry criteria when the competition is not running will automatically be disqualified.

 

- To enter the competition:

 

(a) Post a photo of yourself (or a friend – but make sure you have their consent) on Instagram either showing your briefs (they don’t have to be Billy’s Briefs!) or doing something interesting whilst wearing briefs (but you don’t have to show them).

 

(b) Use the hashtag #poweredbybriefs and tag @billysbriefs.

 

(c) In the caption, complete the sentence, “Briefs are better because …”

 

- No purchase is necessary, and there is no charge from us for entering the giveaway.

 

- We do not accept responsibility for competition entries removed by yourself, by Instagram or otherwise lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed, regardless of cause.

 

- By submitting an entry with the #poweredbybriefs hashtag and tagging @billysbriefs on the Instagram platform, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

- We will not accept any entries on Twitter, Facebook, TikTok or other social media platforms and they will not be counted for this competition.

 

- Competition entries will selected at random from those images entered and one winner will be selected each week.

 

- The competition is only open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except for employees of BILLYBLONDE LIMITED, their immediate families or households.

 

- In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize.

 

- While there is no limit to the number of entries you can make in a week, we will not accept any entries:

 

(a) That are automatically generated by computer or bots;

 

(b) Where the same image is submitted more than once in the same weekly competition cycle (though you may submit the same photo in a later weekly competition cycle);

 

(c) Where you do not have the rights to post the image (say, where you have taken it from another website or you do not know the model and have their consent to post it); or

 

(d) Where the image violates the Instagram terms of service or any other applicable local laws or regulations.

 

And the decision of the directors of BILLYBLONDE LIMITED, acting reasonably, on these points shall be final.

 

- BILLYBLONDE LIMITED reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

 

The Prize

 

- The available prize each week is one pair of briefs, in your size, of your chosen colour (subject to availability), sent free of charge to a UK address.

 

Winners

 

- The decision of BILLYBLONDE LIMITED is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

- BILLYBLONDE LIMITED will contact the winner by direct message as soon as practicable after the Saturday Midday cut-off date, using the account details for the account that has posted the winning entry.

 

- We must publish or otherwise make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this, we will re-post the winning image with our congratulations within 3 days of the Saturday Midday deadline upon which the weekly competition cycle ended.

 

Claiming the Prize

 

- Please allow at least week for the delivery by post of your briefs once we have confirmed your postal address.

 

- We’ll make all reasonable efforts to contact you, but if we can’t, we reserve the right to enter the prize to another eligible entrant selected at random from that week’s competition cycle entries.

 

Limitation of Liability

 

- Insofar as is permitted by law, BILLYBLONDE LIMITED, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of BILLYBLONDE LIMITED, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

 

Ownership of Competition Entries and Intellectual Property Rights

 

- By submitting your entry and accompanying caption, you agree to:

(a) Assign to BILLYBLONDE LIMITED all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee (or, to the extent that isn’t possible, you grant us an irrevocable worldwide royalty-free licence to use them); and

 

(b) Waive all your moral rights;

 

in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to tie and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

 

- You agree that BILLLYBLONDE LIMITED may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website at billyblonde.com and any other media or social media platforms, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition.

 

Data Protection

 

- BILLYBLONDE LIMITED will only process your personal information in order to comply with its obligation to announce the winner and to ship your prize to you.

 

General

 

- If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, BILLYBLONDE LIMITED may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

 

- BILLYBLONDE LIMITED reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

 

- These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
